Paypro is looking for a motivated individual to join the Payroll Tax Department! The right candidate must be eager to learn and excited to join a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Review client payrolls for accuracy of tax codes and tax calculations

· Assist with the filing of quarterly payroll tax returns for clients

· Assist with generating client responses to government tax inquiries

· Research payroll tax laws to ensure Paypro compliance

· Work closely with Paypro Customer Service Representatives to handle client needs

· Develop a trusted relationship with our clients

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred; if no degree, minimum of 2 years of Payroll tax experience required

· Accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred

· Flexibility regarding peak payroll tax season work requirements a must

· Strong organizational skills to effectively handle multiple priorities with short deadlines

Preferred Skills:

· Excellent oral, interpersonal and written business communication skills internally as well as with clients

· Payroll processing experience

· Work well independently and in a team environment

· Proficient in MS Word
